A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh and India on withdrawal of water (153 x 2 = 306 cusec) by both the countries from the common stretch of the Kushiyara River on 6th September, 2022 during the visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh to India.
